To be staged at : Solihull Arts Complex, Homer Road, Touchwood, Solihull, B91 3RG Thursday 17th September at 7.30 pm Friday 18th September at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm All tickets are £10 each with all proceeds being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. This play will tell the stories of 5 women surviving breast cancer, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, bowel cancer and childhood leukaemia. This powerful and inspiring production will tell you about their fight for survival whilst living with their various types of cancer. Their journeys will make you laugh and cry as we see their strengths, humour, despair and sheer will to take back control of their lives. Malvern St James School Singers from Worcestershire will be performing throughout the play and will be bringing the play to a closure with the song titled “Survive”. I have pleasure in announcing Hannah Waterman (BBC EastEnders and New Tricks), Sarah Manners (BBC Casualty and Doctors), Jean Boht (BBC Bread and acclaimed stage actress), Maggie Service (actress/stand up comedian fresh from the Edinburgh Festival) and Finn Atkins (acclaimed flim actress) will be taking part in the play. My play is very much linked to the Macmillan Cancer Support Survivorship agenda and I have had ongoing discussions with the Fundraising and Service teams of Macmillan to help deliver this project and I have their full support. We are extremely grateful to the regional and national press, TV and radio for supporting this exciting production.
